Why You Feel The Way You Do
You may ask, as many do, what is it that motivates some people to do some of the things that they do. The best way to know the answer, is to know it when you see it. You are the gatekeeper of your mind and it is how you think. I look at the world through the lens of my life. What I say now and what I will be saying is less academic than it is my experience and spiritual Self. I simply look at life in a way others have not. And you have to see it to believe. You have to listen to learn and learn to listen.
What I have to say is not fiction, though it does come from the realm of my mind. I did not ask for it. I turned my mind around and it was there. What I think, feel and say it is about life and the parts of the whole that are our existence. You have not heard it before for it has never been told. I will say much and little about many things and my energy will come from you. I need to know how you think about what I think. To see, you must look. You may see the answer that has eluded you. And you just may meet the person you have for so long wanted to know; the real you. “Your Self.” If your mind is yet closed and not found the vision to see you, you may let go enough to see someone you know and possibly love. Or perhaps you will think of a troubled soul who you have seen act out his or her hurt and pain in all the wrong places when there seemed to be no apparent reason for their behavior. It all comes down to how you think.
Through growth and enlightenment, you can change the course of your life, if that is what you need or want to do. Life’s greatest question is why. Why we think, feel and act the way we do. And the irrefutable answer is; “It Is How You Think.” And if how you think is disordered your life will be the same. When your mind and how you think is the cause of your hurt and pain, you have to change how you think. How we think is the root cause of our negative feelings. I did not always know that I knew what I know now. It is not knowledge until you understand and you cannot put it to its best use until you have the ability to do so. I did not have to seek it out; it just came to me from a power greater than all others. You will know for yourself. I will share what I know with those who will listen.
The more you listen, the more you will understand what it is that you hear. You are sure to think, and feel what you hear if you listen. There will be truths that will cause you to change how you perceive the world around you. This is good. It will challenge the way you think about you, which will allow the “real you” to come through. You will know the truth for what it is. The truth tells all when it is told. It is what we have to depend on. The truth is the fabric of which life is formed. It is about how we view the world that each of us lives in. Is what you know the truth? Or is it what you have been given to believe. Your world is not just what is around you. It is also what is in your mind, and the things that go on in your head. Have you not had thoughts about why you feel the way you do.
What is said and done here will be a reference and starting point to the rest of your life. It is a way to look at the true nature of what is and how it came to be. Change may be a stranger. As you step closer, you may see a friend, for after all “It Is How You Think.”
(This was posted here to post to Facebook)
I must confess, I was thinking yesterday (Thursday) was Christmas and the day before was Christmas Eve. This thinking had gone on for several days leading up to today, Christmas. Well, this says more about my life than anything else I could say. I am not connected and that is not a good thing and from this day forward I am going to be changing that.
I have been living a rather reclusive (secluded) lifestyle without much contact with other people; certainly not on a personal level. For the past several years, or more, I have been laying the groundwork for the rest of my life and part of that was to use social media, which was the result of consultation with the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I stayed longer than I had planned for I had no idea what Facebook was all about and that it held a key to my past. There are no words to fully express how fortunate I feel that my path led me here.
Facebook is not human though, so I guess it is time, beginning the new year, that I refocus. It has been a nice ride and I have thoroughly enjoyed my friends’ posts but it is no substitute for real human contact. I have gathered, it seems, hundreds of pictures of many of my school mates, hometown folks, relatives and others I have come to know through the many hours that I have spent on Facebook. Thanks everyone for the good times. My mission has been accomplished. You will see me soon. itishowyouthink.com
